Quint Reiff

The Search and Rescue Teams of Warren County mourn the loss of Quint Reiff, one of our newer members who added so much to our team. In addition to Quint's extensive outdoor knowledge, we will miss his friendliness, generosity and willingness to assist in whatever needed to be done for the team and on call outs. Quint's upbeat personality and his ready smile were always welcomed at searches, training and meetings.

From the Blairstown News 5/21/2015:

"It is with deep sadness that I must announce that a long time resident and familiar face around town has passed unexpectedly.  Quint Reiff or just “Quint” as he was known by his friends and those who he came in contact with, whether in the diner, the Mohican Outdoor Center, the people he worked for or the groups that he volunteered for. He always had time for you. He was an avid hiker and member of the Warren County Search and Rescue Team. The trails of the Appalachians here in Warren County all felt his footsteps when he worked for the Mohican Center. He was a very big help in the building of Patriot Park at Sycamore Field last year. An expert carpenter and jack of all trades, he worked with many of our local tradesmen....If you did not know him personally then someone you know did. RIP Quint."
